*Or something like that.
I just can’t get motivated about this tournament. The PGA Tour has failed to get even any good players involved in this thing. To be honest, I think most people would rather follow a golf tournament with a handful of great players and the rest terrible over a bunch of solid PGA tour pros. After 5 straight weeks, these tournaments are starting to run together. It’s hard to say anything different about the from Frys.com or Las Vegas because they are basically the same fields.
John Merrick to win +10000(.1)
John Merrick top-5 +2400(.4)
Stephen Ames +110 v. Justin Rose(1)
Bill Haas +105 v. Scott Piercy(1)
That’s it. If I planned on watching this tournament at all, I may have talked myself into Toms -120 v. Love, but I don’t. Haas over Piercy didn’t immediately stick out like Ames did, but Piercy has two top-15 finishes in a row while Haas missed the cut last time out. On top of that my numbers have Haas as much better(realistically don’t see this as worse than a toss-up) and I think Haas is better suited for the course. All those semantics combine for a play.
