I did this for part of a post I am working up on Tiger for next week.
The money is done on adjusted dollars per tournament, which I think is a decent judge of how good a player is overall, although it may factor in wins a little too much. Basically, I took a players dollars won, divided by tournaments played and finally adjusted it back to 1980 money scale(first year I could find on PGATour.com)

The average money winner made over 26 times more money in 2009 than 1980.

For anyone who is interested here is where Tiger ranks by adjusted money won/tournament since he turned pro.
Not too bad.

Again, the rest of this Tiger-related post will be coming on either Monday or Tuesday.
